Our first mixer at Cicada

I’m so looking forward to the Wedding Happy Hour’s first mixer and can’t wait to meet all you new brides. The Cicada Restaurant and club is an amazing venue especially if you like the vintage 20’s retro look. I’m Jennifer Emery of PBJ Candids and I shot a wedding there this last June, and my team and the couple could have photographed there all day. We where disappointed when our allotted shoot time was over, we where having so much fun!

The couple dressed in 20's inspired wardrobe and we photographed the couple mostly in the Cicada Club's Penthouse for these amazing circa 1920's inspired photographs. After you experience the amazing venue at the Wedding Happy Hour, try to make an appointment to view the penthouse another day, it’s great for a smaller reception, or engagement parties. This Penthouse is also where you enter the roof and can view the “clock tower” that you see in this photo. I LOVE this place! And their staff is amazing too.

Event Launch

Hello everyone!!

I am so excited to be a part of this amazing new group! It is a privilege to be included in such an elite group of vendors, who share the same goal- to give each client the best service, unique and quality product & build lasting relationships!  Wedding Happy Hour has made it fun and easy to meet qualified vendors that will make any special event extraordinary!  If I was a planning an event there is no question I would be here, champagne in hand, making new friends and finding out what vendors are right for me and fit my style.

Our very first event is going to be amazing and is at one of my favorite locations!  I am really looking forward to meeting everyone, and re connecting with good friends... over some fabulous cocktails!  What more could a girl ask for?!  See you all soon!

Exciting Launch for Wedding Happy Hour

We are all so excited for the launch of Wedding Happy Hour. I'm looking forward to meeting new clients and working with the best group of wedding professionals. And having some happy hour drinks! Knowing other vendors and working together makes the wedding day great for everyone from the clients to the other vendors. When your vendors have a good working relationship they can work together to make your day even more perfect. Make sure you have an excellent wedding planner to pull everything together.

As a bride (later this year) I am booking people that do have this working relationship. When I book one good quality vendor I know their referrals will be of the same excellent quality. This has saved me a lot of time and effort as well. It's hard work to plan this huge day and referrals will only make it easier. It's also nice on the wedding day when your vendors are all smiles too because they are working with their friends. I'm using both Marcia at Crystal Clear Weddings, and Jennifer at Photography by Jennifer, an awesome team. I'm also using Claudia at Sub Rosa Floral Designs.
